Award Description

Gregg Kildow devoted his career to improving the Criminal Justice system, viewing every role in Probation, Parole, and Community Corrections as an opportunity to help individuals make better choices while honoring victims’ needs. Known for his compassion and genuine presence, Gregg made everyone he met feel respected, encouraged, and truly seen—from close friends to complete strangers. Gregg served as a Citizen Member on the 1st and 9th Judicial District Community Corrections Boards and contributed steady leadership on the Executive Committee of the Colorado Association of Community Corrections Boards (CACCB). To honor his legacy of integrity, compassion, and system-wide improvement, the CACCB annually presents the Gregg Kildow Community Corrections Service Award to an individual who exemplifies the qualities he demonstrated throughout his life.
